Contribution of the Agricultural Sector to Ukraine's Economy:
The agricultural sector remains the cornerstone of Ukraine's economy.
In 2024, agricultural producers secured 59% of the country's foreign exchange earnings.
Exports of agri-food products reached $24.7 billion, accounting for 17.5% of Ukraine's GDP.
One in five Ukrainians is employed in agribusiness.
Land Policy and Financial Support:
The "Land Bank" project has been launched, actively replenishing the budget through transparent auctions for 56,000 hectares of land.
Under the "5-7-9" program, farmers received preferential loans totaling 47 billion UAH.
Separate loan programs have been established for vegetable and potato storage facilities, as well as for the purchase of agricultural machinery.
Support for Frontline Areas:
The main challenge for farmers is demining agricultural lands.
In 2025, 3 billion UAH has been allocated for demining. As of May, 286,000 hectares have been cleared and are actively cultivated by farmers.

Agricultural policy directly influences the country's food security and the well-being of every Ukrainian. Systematic support for small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises ensures price stability for food products and creates new jobs, particularly in rural areas.

Notably, 52% of agri-food exports are directed to the EU, indicating strengthened trade relations with European countries. The state's strategy focuses on the digitalization of the agricultural sector: the State Agrarian Register already contains data on 240,000 business entities and over 20 million hectares of land.
